The Leon County/Tallahassee Comprehensive Plan is undergoing a complete rewrite!
The Comprehensive Plan is a policy document from which all regulations regarding environmental and lake protection, land use, transportation, utilities, school siting, etc. are derived. Land use means what can be built where and how much can be built.
The initial steps have already been taken and the Planning Department is seeking community input.
Those who show up get to have their opinion not only heard, but have much much more influence than those who do not participate!!
